We’re proud to be a family farm. In 1980, the Newell family founded Windset Farms in Abbotsford, BC. Originally a poultry farm, our flock has expanded from 11,000 broiler chickens to 150,000 broiler, breeder and egg-laying chickens. In 1996, we constructed a four-acre greenhouse from where we’ve grown many crops of long english cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, tomatoes-on-the-vine and eggplants.

We expanded again in 1998 with the construction of a 15-acre greenhouse in Delta, BC. Over the next three years, we added another 30 acres to our greenhouse facilities, primarily for growing tomatoes-on-the-vine. In 2005, we finished constructing an additional 23-acre greenhouse at our Delta farm, which we planted with sweet bell peppers and long english cucumbers for the 2005 season.
